Who we are
This website is operated by White Rabbit Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 97 624 468 588), trading as White Rabbit, the maker of SitePilot ("we", "us"). We are based in Melbourne, Australia, and we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy covers the SitePilot marketing website. Use of the SitePilot application itself is governed by the agreement between us and your organisation.
What we collect
- Demo and contact requests — when you submit the Book a demo form we collect your name, company, role, work email, and (optionally) phone number and project size. We use these to respond to you and arrange the demo. That's it — no mailing list, no drip campaign.
- Technical and spam-protection data — form submissions pass through Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-preserving alternative to CAPTCHA) and our own rate limiting. We keep a truncated hash of the submitting IP address (not the address itself), the browser user-agent string and the referring page alongside the submission, to distinguish real enquiries from abuse.
- Analytics — we use PostHog with privacy-conscious settings: no profiles are created for anonymous visitors, Do Not Track is honoured, and session recording is disabled. Analytics tell us which pages are read and how the site performs, in aggregate.
- Preferences — your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and identifies nothing.
Where your information lives
Demo requests are stored in our content-management system hosted in Australia (AWS Sydney region, ap-southeast-2) and a notification is emailed to us via Amazon SES. Our service providers — Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare (Turnstile) and PostHog — may process limited technical data as part of providing those services under their own privacy terms.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal information. Ever.
- We don't run advertising trackers or ad networks on this site.
- We don't add you to marketing lists without asking you first.
How long we keep it
Demo and contact records are kept for as long as they're relevant to the enquiry and our ordinary business records, then deleted or de-identified. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email info@sitepilot.au and we'll respond promptly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and its effective date. Material changes to how we handle demo-request data will be noted plainly, not buried.
